This is an incredibly easy trick, and you probably already have the required materials at home. You need the following:
Zip ties and a pair of scissors
Use the scissors to make a few notches in the zip tie. Remove the lid from the drain. Use gloves if you have them and remove any filth on the surface. Lower the zip tie down the drain and move it up and down. Hair and other dirt will get stuck in the notches and the zip tie enables you to easily remove it. Keep repeating this until the zip tie comes out clear.
Put a good amount of baking soda in the drain, followed by 200 milliliters or one cup of white vinegar. Cover it with a bowl for 10 minutes. Then thoroughly rinse with hot water. Your shower drain will be all clean again!
